Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is a therapy specifically tailored for the expectant mother.

It differs from regular massage as the client must be properly positioned and supported during the treatment using pillows and padding. Also, some massage techniques need to be adapted and certain areas of the body avoided.

Pregnancy Massage can help to :

* Reduce stress
* Decrease swelling in arms and legs
* Relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints
* Relieve back pain, especially useful when pain relief medication can be limited to expectant mothers.
* Reduce anxiety and stress.

Not only can massage be physically beneficial, but the human touch can be comforting and provide emotional support during pregnancy.

Precautions

Pregnancy massage not recommended in the first trimester.

Also, women with certain health conditions may not be able to have pregnancy massage.

Prices
