Kim is a well known and experienced physiotherapist with a healing touch. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal pain and injury in pregnancy including disorders such as pelvic instability disorders, symphysis-pubis dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, diastasis recti, headaches, leg cramps and non specific disorders including neck and shoulder pain (from carrying baby!). She also has a wealth of experience in chronic pain conditions and cancer related fatigue and discomfort.
Kim’s approach is “hands on” using a combination of modern techniques such as muscle-energy techniques, mobilisation, manipulation and acupuncture with more traditional approaches such as massage, electrotherapy, exercise prescription and much more.
Over the years she has attended many courses to give her a large repertoire of treatment options.
She trained at BrunelUniversity gaining her degree in Physiotherapy and has gone on to gain an ITEC diploma in massage therapy, trained in acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and trained in modified Pilates at the prestigious Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute. Her Pilates training includes general, Antenatal and Postnatal Pilates.
