What types of problem can physiotherapy help? Virtually any condition that affects your muscles, joints or nerves. Common conditions treated:- * Back pain - acute and chronic * neck pain, including whiplash * Painful joint conditions such as arthritis * Upper limb work related problems (RSI) * Sports injuries * Sprains, strains and muscle pulls * Headaches and jaw pain * Pregnancy related symptoms such as back pain What does the treatment involve? At your first session your condition will be fully assessed, a diagnosis made and explained so you understand what's wrong. A treatment plan will be developed that takes into account your lifestyle, leisure activities and general health. You will be given an estimate as to the length of treatment required and the proposed outcome of treatment. The first session usually lasts one hour and subsequent treatments half an hour.
