About our Osteopath Sara Randall
Sara Randall BSc (Hons) RM, B.Ost.MedND, graduated from the BritishCollege of Osteopathic Medicine and is a member of the General Osteopathic Council. She is experienced in both traditional and cranial Osteopathy in Pregnancy and with the new-born. After qualifying highest in her year at the university, Sara was invited back by her mentors and now lectures in Osteopathy as well as studying at Masters level in Paediatric Osteopathy. Sara is also a midwife at Watford General and hold antenatal classes as well as having a Diploma Naturopathy.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a primary health care system, which is suitable for almost anyone and can alleviate an enormous range of conditions. Osteopaths primarily work through the neuro-musculo-skeletal system, mostly on muscles and joints and pay special attention to how the internal organs affect, and are affected by, that system.
What is cranial Osteopathy? Cranial osteopathy is a subtle form of treatment that uses a gentle touch to bring the body's physical structure back into balance. It is extremely effective in treating a wide range of conditions, physical and emotional in people of all ages from birth to old age. CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY FOR INFANTS Many infant problems like colic, feeding difficulties, sleep disturbances, ear infections and glue ear m ay result from craniosacral imbalances during birth. At Verulam Clinic our osteopath uses gently cranial techniques to address these imbalances relieving the condition, often only one or two treatments are required.
