I am a counsellor who works with relationships, abuse, loss, bereavement, separation/divorce, mental health and work related stress.  I also work with addictions and specialise in eating disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia, Compulsive Eating and Binge Eating Disorder.

I am Psychodynamically trained and also have Person-Centred experience.  In addition to this I work for an integrative counselling agency, as well as running my own private practice.

I have several years experience of both short (6-12 weeks) and long term (open ended) work and I offer both of these to my clients.

I aim for clients to gain an in depth understanding about who they are, the experiences and relationships that they have had, and the impact of these.  I offer a confidential and safe environment for clients to explore feelings, circumstances and relationships openly and without judgement.

Certificate in Person Centred Counselling

Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling

Masters in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling

Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)

I also have a wide range of professional experience, including training and working with Victim Support, the Samaritans, MIND and working overseas in South Africa on Aids/HIV and sex/sexuality projects.
